KNSIT Placement Process

The Placement Team at KNSIT helps students get jobs by connecting them with companies. The process is simple and easy to follow.

  1. Invitation to Companies
  • The Placement Team invites companies to take part in the placement drive.
  • Companies confirm their participation and share details about the jobs they are offering.
  1. Sharing the Selection Process
  • Companies need to explain how they will select students.
  • They must tell the Placement Team about tests, interviews, and other rounds they will conduct.
  1. Fixing Interview Dates

The Placement Team decides the dates for recruitment based on:

  •  Student interest
  • Job roles and salary offered
  • Company availability

This helps in smooth planning for both students and companies.

  1. Pre-Placement Talk (PPT)

Companies are encouraged to give a short talk before the selection process.

This helps students understand:

  • What the company does
  • Job role and responsibilities
  • Salary and career growth opportunities

This helps students make better choices before applying.

  1. Selection Process & Result Companies conduct tests and interviews as per their selection process.

After finishing all rounds, they send the list of selected students to the Placement Team.

The Placement Team informs the selected students.

  1. Job Offers & Acceptance
  • Job offers must be in writing. Verbal or phone offers will not be accepted.
  • The Placement Team must receive all offer letters before they are given to students.
  • Companies must send offer letters within 15 days of selection.
  1. Early Joining Requests

If a company wants a student to join before completing their course, they must inform the Placement Team. The college will decide whether to allow early joining or not.

  1. Placement Updates for Students
  • Students will receive mobile messages about on-campus and off-campus placements.

Training Programme

Getting a job is not just about searching. It is about having the right skills. Companies want students who are ready to work. But industries change fast, and college courses take time to update.

Many jobs are available, but freshers lack important skills. Because of this, companies spend a lot on training or hire experienced people. This makes it harder for freshers to get jobs.

To help students, KNSIT has started a special Training Programme. It has three parts:

  1. Soft Skills Training
  • Improves speaking, confidence, personality, and manners.
  •  Helps students talk better and feel more confident.
  1. Certification Programmes
  • Teaches important job skills with help from top companies.
  • These courses are low-cost because the college helps pay.
  1. Placement Preparation
  • Students learn resume writing, group discussions, and interviews.
  • Mock interviews are done and recorded for feedback.
  • HR experts visit to teach students how to get good jobs.
