Associate Prof.& HOD-Mech,
KNS Institute of Technology
As the programme head Dr. S. Adil Ahmed extend a warm welcome to the prestigious
Mechanical Engineering department of KNSIT, Bangalore.
Our department was established in 2010 with a vision of empowering the future Engineers/innovators to revolutionaze the world through excellence in Mechanical engineering with a focus on Research, Innovation and readiness for Industry.
Along with core disciplines, like design, Thermal and Manufacturing our syllabus is redefined to meet modern industrial and Research standards incorporating python, AIML and Software related disciplines as recommended by the industry experts.
In addition to class room teaching we also encourage students to carryout Real-time projects to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge & its applications. In addition to this we also conduct regular industrial visits, AICTE activities and invite subject matter experts from industry & academics to conduct workshops, experts’ lectures, Seminars to enhance learning and expose our students to latest trends in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
For updating the faculty knowledge, the department regularly conducts FDP,workshops, seminars, expert lectures and symposia with vibrant resource persons.
